Kettle Run
A lane-switcher on a ninety second clock. One rule governs everything else in it: a round has to be abandonable without costing you a thing.
Ninety seconds
Sydney, New South Wales
We make small mobile games for Android and iOS. Three minutes, one thumb, no tutorial, no account, and a round that ends cleanly the moment you put the phone down.
The slate
Each one answers the same question a different way: what fits in the gap between putting the kettle on and pouring. A round starts, resolves, and lets you go — the arc is whole every time, not a slice of something longer.

Ninety seconds
A grid puzzle where the board drifts on its own between your moves. No clock on it, which makes it the one that gets played in bed with the lamp already off.
No clock
An endless climber that draws the mountain one ridge ahead of you. A single ascent, a single thumb, and a fall that ends the round instead of opening a menu.

How we work
Most of what a small studio decides is what it refuses to do. These are the refusals we have written down.
If closing the app mid round costs you something, the game is manipulating you into staying. Progress is committed at the end of every round, and quitting early loses only that round.
Our games are playable with no sign in, no email, and no social connection. Sign in exists only if you want progress carried between devices, and it stays optional for the whole life of the title.
These are free games and they carry advertising. What that means for the data on your device is set out in the privacy policy rather than buried in a settings screen, and personalised advertising stays off unless you turn it on.
On the register
Who is behind the slate, in the form of numbers you can check on a public register.
The ACN and ABN above can be checked against the public registers held by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission and the Australian Business Register. We would rather you did that than take our word for it.
Get in touch
Press enquiries, business questions, privacy requests and bug reports all land in the same place, and it is read by somebody who works on the games. Ordinary mail gets an answer inside five business days; anything raised under the Privacy Act is dealt with within the thirty days that Act allows.
